WHAT a unique place is Worcester. A cricket ground and a race-course in the middle of a river.
A football ground almost in the middle of a canal and a rugby ground almost in the middle of a motorway.
Worcester can also boast the most appropriately named street in Europe - "The Shambles" - what an apt description. It is just that.
Also, the Faithful City possesses the most inappropriately named thoroughfare in Europe - "Angel Place" - certainly no place for angels, especially when the nightclubs are turning out!
