WHAT did I say to deserve such treatment from M Coldwell? (You Say, May 1).

I take it that while it was all right for a Tory government to be manipulated by rich industrialists and greedy developers, the unions had no business to do the same with a Labour government.

If Labour's subsidy to the nationalised industries was such a bad policy, why were the Tories passing on huge subsidies to the arable farming industry?

As for first-hand knowledge, nurses did go on work-to-rule. I know, because I took time off work to support their day of action.
