I HAVE been delighted to see so many letters in the Evening News recently with regard to our membership of the EU.
Over a period of time the British people have become increasingly anti-EU mainly because the facts about Europe have become increasingly honest and clear.
We now have 82 per cent of the electorate wanting to come out of Europe completely in the same way we wanted to come out of Europe from May 1940 onwards.
The electorate wonders why Blair wants to hold this election now and not in a year's time when it is due.
Sovereignty
It is because he wants to surrender our sovereignty before we are aware that he has done so.
To try to sidestep the issue of Europe in the election, Blair has done two things. One is to play the "race cards" and the other is foot-and- mouth, which he tried to sweep under the carpet, hoping it would go away.
Blair can sign any treaties he likes, giving our independence and sovereignty away.
But treaties are only bits of paper that can be consumed on funeral pyres of reality.
On election day, let us all vote for the UK. Independence Party.
