TWO defensive blunders sentenced promotion-chasing Redditch United to a costly 2-1 home feat against Blakenall.
Former Reds striker Matt Coppin gave the visitors a 19th-minute lead after Reds 'keeper Dave Adey missed with an attempted clearance.
Nine minutes later Reds were level when veteran Nicky Cross headed home a Paul Danks cross.
But with 15 minutes left home skipper Adam Nicholls' clearance went straight to Les Palmer, and the former Kidderminster Harriers striker tucked home the winner via the post.
