TEENAGE striker Andrew Corbett bagged a debut goal for Redditch United but could not stop them from slipping up 3-2 at home to Dr Martens League Western Division promotion hopefuls Bilston Town.

The Kidderminster Harriers forward, on loan to United for a month, made an immediate impact with a 37th minute strike to give Reds the lead.

Corbett was twice denied by Bilston's former Worcester City 'keeper Danny Watson before finding the net, but the second of these saves resulted in Watson being stretchered off with an ankle injury.

Bilston skipper Mark Clifton took over between the sticks and, apart from gifting Reds a second goal when he dropped a corner to allow Tommy Byrne to head home, he did enough to keep the home side at bay.

The visitors levelled through Scott Voice on 67 minutes and then cancelled out Byrne's 77th-minute header within seconds thanks to a Lee Rollason strike.

Leon Jackson and Corbett both could have netted for Redditch but it was Bilston who grabbed a winner eight minutes from time, Voice rifling in a penalty after Adey's clumsy challenge on substitute Nathan Rose-Laing.
