IT might help for a short time but in the end it is no better. The council two or three weeks ago cleared up the path by the Convent of litter and broken bottles. It is now twice as bad. It is best to find out who does it.
As for support from McDonald's, I don't think they do enough as a lot of of the rubbish is from their fast food cafe.
It would not hurt for the group of stores to get together and employ two or three people to clear up rubbish around.
