KIDDERMINSTER Harriers manager Jan Molby will be checking on the fitness of midfielder Dean Bennett and front-runner Tony Bird before finalising his side for tomorrow's Nationwide League Division Three clash ag-ainst Exeter City at Aggborough (3.00).

Both picked up knee injuries during Tuesday night's ill-tempered 2-1 triumph over Darlington at Feet-hams.

Bennett also suffered a blow to the head during the match but is expected to be fit in time to play.

"The odds will be in his favour," said Molby today.

"With Bird we'll just have to see how he is. Again the chances are certainly in his favour."

Stuart Brock and Ian Foster remain on the sidelines while Gary Barnett and Steve Pope have come off the casualty list.

Striker Foster, troubled by a long term hamstring injury, was due to have resumed full time training today while goalkeeper Brock is still battling to overcome a knee problem.

Midfielder Barnett is now back in training after hamstring trouble while defender Pope has recovered from an ankle injury.

Harriers new striker John Durnin is set to make his home debut after hitting three goals in his first two ap-pearances.

Last Saturday's goal in a thrilling 3-3 draw with Lincoln City at Sincil Bank was followed by a brace in Tuesday night's impressive victory at Darlington.

Molby, however, is expecting another tough test tomorrow against an Exeter side who are currently in 17th slot in the table.

He said: "It was all change for them in the summer. They got a new manager, an entirely new squad and basically they let everybody go and had a big clear-out.

"Full credit must go to Noel Blake for that. You can make changes at the top but it's not always enough. You have to make other changes and he did.

"He got rid of nearly all the players and brought in 14 new ones and they have done okay.

"They have had better results on their travels than what they have done at home so when they come here they will be strong.

"There's one thing we can expect tomorrow and that's a physical game because their manager was that type of player and that's what he'll expect from them his players.

"They have got a young striker they took from Cardiff whose done well and that's Christian Roberts. I've always liked him. He's very lively and got a good pace."

Roberts has performed on loan for Hereford United in the past.

"In midfield they have got Kwame Ampadu who I had with me at Swansea.

" He's a very good player who dictates the play for them."
