JAN Molby is poised to make a number of defensive changes for Kidderminster Harriers' Nationwide League Division Three clash against Barnet at Aggborough tomorrow (3.0).

The Harriers boss, however, will be checking on a lengthy casualty list before making his final selection.

Frenchman Parfait Medou-Otye looks likely to be included in the rearguard after overcoming hamstring trouble while fellow defender Scott Stamps is rated as having a '50-50' chance of recovering in time from a similar injury.

He has been having constant treatment this week.

Kidderminster's other casualties are strikers Stewart Hadley and Ian Foster, who are also hamstring victims, while midfielder Ian Bogie is on the road to recovery following a back injury.

Hadley and Bogie both came through Wednesday's reserve match against Hereford without any adverse reaction, and Hadley could return tomorrow on the substitutes' bench.

Kidderminster, 16th in the table, have not won in their last seven league matches.

Molby admits that the grim sequence has plunged him into the most difficult time of his managerial career, including when he was in charge at Swansea City.

He is again expecting a tough test against mid-table Barnet who drew 0-0 at home against Harriers on September 9.

Molby believes one of the main problems for his side tomorrow will be The Bees' player-manager Tony Cottee, the ex-Everton campaigner who came up against the Aggborough chief in Merseyside derbies on several occasions.

Molby said: "Barnet are going through a bit of a similar run to ourselves, having lost six of their last nine league games. Tony has obviously got his own ideas and it takes a little bit of time for a new manager.

"We know we played well against them down there, but Barnet will be thinking a little bit like us and that's if you produce a fantastic run between now and the end of the season you have got an outside chance of the play-offs.

"But, if not, we are trying to put together a squad that's going to be very, very competitive next season.

"The one we have to watch tomorrow is Tony. His goals, although the results would suggest otherwise, have played a big part, but they have got a number of good players."
