KIDDERMINSTER Harriers boss Jan Molby is unlikely to be adding to his playing staff until the summer.

Most weeks Harriers are being linked with various players, but the Aggborough boss has dropped a strong hint that the current squad will be left to complete the club's debut campaign in the Nationwide League Third Division.

He said: "I have a number of players who I would like to bring to Aggborough, but it looks as though I'll have to wait until the season has finished before going in for them for a number of reasons."

The latest player to have been linked with Kidderminster is 23-year-old Aston Villa striker Richard Walker who is available for transfer.

Speculation about a possible move to Aggborough was fuelled by the fact that Molby had run the rule over him earlier in the season. He has now gone on loan to Blackpool

Several players have been on trial at Kidderminster so far this season and others are likely to follow.

The most recent player to go under Molby's scrutiny was striker Frederic Bonniface who was unsuccessful in his bid to secure a permanent deal.

The Aggborough chief's main priority, however, is to stop his side's alarming slide down the table following five defeats and two draws.

He said: "There are a number of reasons why we keep failing to pick up points recently, but one of them is our inability to deal with straight forward problems, and that disappoints me.

"We are having a bad run of results at the moment but the one thing we mustn't do is panic.

"It is my belief we keep trying to play the right way and eventually the tide will turn in our favour."
