KIDDERMINSTER Harriers boss Jan Molby today gave his out-of-form side a stern rallying call ahead of tomorrow's Nationwide League Division Three clash against Rochdale at Spotland (3pm).

"We are playing for pride," said Molby, who is anxious to end a grim run of three heavy defeats on the trot.

"But again it's an extremely difficult place to go to. We have just played Leyton Orient and Blackpool away and now it's Rochdale which is another very, very tough away game for us.

"We have got to produce what we did at Leyton Orient when we drew 0-0. We have got to defend. There's no fancy way out of the situation we are in, you have to battle."

As part of their build-up to tomorrow's clash the players have been studying a video of their 3-1 home defeat against Lincoln City at Aggborough on Tuesday.

Molby hopes it will help the players iron out their recent defensive problems, particularly as he believes Rochdale are one of the better teams in the league.

"I don't think they have got the ability Blackpool have, but we'll go there hoping to improve. Rochdale seem a better away team, although we shouldn't be fooled by that."

Molby has yet to finalise his line-up, saying: "There might be one or two changes, but if there are it's because we want to play slightly different from what we have been."

Striker Ian Foster (hamstring) and midfielder Adie Smith (groin strain) are again ruled out while Scott Stamps, Neil Mackenzie and Dean Bennett are all expected to be available after minor setbacks.

Defender Stamps has returned to training after suffering from a stomach upset while midfielders Mackenzie (knee) and Bennett

(back) have recovered from slight injuries picked up against Lincoln.

"It's nothing to keep them out for tomorrow," said Molby, whose side drew 0-0 at home to ninth-in-the-table Rochdale back in October.

It's unlikely that midfielder Andy Ducros will return, with Molby saying: "He's just run out of legs and I think the reason is because he's had two consecutive years now without pre-season training."
