SCOTT Stamps believes he could have done better for Kidderminster Harriers during their debut campaign in the Nationwide League Division Three.
In a frank assessment of his form this term, he says: "Personally, I don't think I've had the best season. Because of injuries and my performances I don't think I have been up to the standard I can play.
"I thought after last season I'd just carry if on, but it's not happened, so I have just got to put it right in the training sessions
Full-back Stamps, however, still loves the game and is determined to get back into top form.
He said: "Everyone enjoys playing football, it's the best thing you can do, but we have had just two wins in 18 league matches which is not good."
The 26-year-old former Torquay and Colchester campaigner, however, is confident that Kidderminster will avoid getting into a scrap to avoid relegation.
"I personally don't think we are going to go down. I think we have got a good enough team to stay up. It's just getting three points from a game and to progress from there."
Another Aggborough player who has been assessing his form is transfer-listed striker Tony Bird, who has been operating in Harriers midfield in recent games.
The Cardiff and Swansea front-runner said: "I'm happy to stay here and being listed has probably given me a kick up the backside. The gaffer asked me to play midfield because we had a few injuries and I don't mind at all. I will always give 110 per cent whenever I am picked, as long as I'm enjoying my football I don't mind. I played a few times in midfield for Cardiff and it's not a problem.
