BOSS Jan Molby is relishing the prospect of Kidderminster Harriers having a say in who will bag a play-off place in the Nationwide League Division Three.

Tomorrow his side face rivals Cheltenham Town at Whaddon Road (3pm) in a clash which could have a major bearing on whether the Robins will clinch a top seven slot.

Then, a week tomorrow, Harriers wrap up their home programme against Hartle-pool who are also making a strong bid for a play-off spot.

Cheltenham, whose first team coach is former Kidderminster boss Graham Allner, are currently one point away from seventh place while Hartlepool are fifth.

"It's nice that we can have a little bit of a say towards the back end of the season regarding the play-offs," said Molby, who is expecting a difficult tussle against the Robins who drew 1-1 when they visited Aggborough in November.

He added: "The players know that tomorrow is the one that the supporters want us to win. We would love to go there and just for our fans produce another performance like the one against Plymouth last Monday.

"Cheltenham are a good, big strong team and they are having a good run. They had a good result at Blackpool on Monday, but when they came to Aggborough at half time we should have been three or four nil up. But that's been the story of our season.

"We know it's going to be difficult but at least we gave ourselves an awful lot of confidence with our performance against Plymouth. It wasn't just a 3-0 win it was very comprehensive. We played very well and there were one or two very good performances.

"We would like to take a lot of fans there tomorrow. It's going to be a big gate because Cheltenham are pushing really hard for a play-off place."

Harriers defender Craig Hin-ton said: "It's a local derby and everyone is up for it. Hopefully, we can build on Monday's win and if we play as well then I cannot see why we can't beat them.

"They are beatable. They are a physical side compared to us, but when we played them earlier this season we were all over them in the first half and then in the second half they came back."

Molby is not expected to make many -- if any -- changes from the line-up which faced Plymouth.

"The only thing we have got to consider is whether we need to be bigger because of the way they play so that we can deal with the set-pieces."

Skipper Ian Clarkson remains a doubt after missing Monday's match because of a virus while striker Drewe Broughton is available again after completing a two-match suspension.

Defender Mark Shail, left out against the Pilgrims, could also return to the squad.
