A TRADER has given a boost to the planned Bromsgrove in Bloom competition, which is intended to make the town a riot of colour this summer, by offering special deals for shops which want to take part.
BroMark hopes to see shops compete to produce the most brilliant display of hanging baskets and window boxes, with the public helping to choose a winner.
Athol Deakin, of Bromsgrove Shrubs, who came to offer green-fingered advice, said he would try and give traders who wanted to brighten up the town a discount on plants for the baskets.
