LET us not submit St John's people to any more dismal, depressing, rejections of their hopes for a new supermarket.
Surely we don't have to put up with outdated shops and service in St John's any longer. Both chemists are good and essential, but we need a larger store, with better variety, class and quality service.
St John's is at a standstill at present. One visits other towns and notices wonderful shopping facilities, so I would say this - now is the time to move into the 21st century!
