ANOTHER good batting display from James Pipe helped Worcestershire take control in their Second Eleven Championship match with Glamorgan at New Road.
Wicketkeeper Pipe, who hit 56 for the Worcestershire Cricket Board in their NatWest Trophy game on Monday, notched 45 as the County reached 90-2 before bad light brought play to a premature close.
Gary Treagus was also among the runs, his 31 helping Worcestershire close in on their visitors' total of 230 all out.
Chris Liptrot and Depesh Patel were the pick of the County's bowlers, the pair taking three wickets apiece to keep Glamorgan's total down.
