I WOULD be most grateful if I could use the medium of your newspaper to inform members of any church denomination in your area of the free spiritual help and advice service that has recently been established entitled Bible Questions Answered.
Although we live in an age of scepticism, programmes such as the BBC's Soul of Britain series, presented by Sir David Frost, reminds us that although church attendance may have fallen across the country, the UK nevertheless remains at large a nation deeply interested in spiritual matters.
Over the past few months, Bible Questions Answered has received hundreds of letters from individuals across the country, of every denomination (and sometimes none), seeking advice on a whole range of spiritual matters.
Personal belief is a very private thing and this appears to explain why so many individuals feel comfortable writing to Bible Questions Answered. Their anonymity is guaranteed.
