COUNTY Councillor Bob Peachey (You Say, March 12), appears so obviously out of touch and angry with Worcester City Council.
He could still be suffering from the "double whammy" of losing his city council seat to the Tories. He had also contributed to his fellow New Labour City councillors into becoming the opposition party after some 20 odd years in power.
And could I also say that, having witnessed previous years of city council meetings, the farcical puppet-style political voting by New Labour on most issues really places the Independents head and shoulders above such actions.
The Independent councillors don't have a pact with any party, unlike the situation on Worcestershire.
BRIAN HUNT, member of the Association of Independents, Worcester.
