FORMER Worcestershire spinner Richard Illingworth is being linked with a move to Derbyshire.
The 37-year-old was released by the County at the end of last term after 19 seasons at New Road.
Illingworth is one of a number of possible new signings by Derbyshire who are also interested in Warwickshire's Graeme Welch, a player Worcestershire are also believed to have considered a target.
Meanwhile, England have called Essex all-rounder Paul Grayson on to their Kenya tour as cover for the injured Ashley Giles.
As Giles continues his wait to discover the seriousness of the calf strain he suffered two days ago, England have decided they need someone else in the who can bowl left-arm spin.
