EVESHAM United should have striker Steve Taylor back for their latest crunch promotion clash at home to Solihull Borough tonight (7.45).

The former Kidderminster Harriers and Bromsgrove Rovers player had declared himself fit to return after a groin injury against Shepshed on Saturday -- but the game was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

But he should figure tonight as the Robins chase a victory that would put them back into second place, having dropped behind promotion rivals Bilston on Saturday.

However, fellow front man Shaun Pratt (virus) and on-loan defender Richard Clark (thigh) are both rated as "doubtful" by manager Phil Mullen.

Tonight's game has been switched to Common Road because of drainage problems at Solihull's new Damson Park ground.

But Mullen still expects a stiff test against their seventh-placed opponents, who could still break into the promotion race if they can win their games in hand.

Mullen said: "Hopefully we will be refreshed from our weekend break and we are in a good vein of form carried over from our win at Cirencester last week.

"I would expect us to approach the game with the same sort of application that we did at Cirencester."
