PLANNING staff at Wychavon District Council have cancelled the first of a series of village consultation days on the Review of the Local Plan in the wake of increased fear over foot-and-mouth disease.
The first consultation was due to take place today at Grafton Flyford, near Upton Snodsbury.
"We hope to continue with others as the venues are not so rural," said Dave Tomaney, planning policy manager.
"We ask that people look out in the local press as these dates will be advertised."
The Grafton Flyford day will be rescheduled and disinfectant will be used at all other venues.
Villagers in Ombersley and Doverdale are invited to attend a consultation day at Ombersley Memorial Hall, on Thursday, March 22, between noon and 7pm.
