UNEMPLOYMENT in Bromsgrove has fallen over the last year with 79 people finding work, leaving 1,156 of those able to work claiming benefit.
The town's unemployment rate stands at 3.3 per cent which is one of the highest in Worcestershire, almost equalling 3.4 per cent in Redditch and Wyre Forest, but still well below the average rate for the West Midlands of 4 per cent.
Male unemployment is particularly high in Bromsgrove, at 4.8 per cent.
