WITH Malvern looking forward to their league game after winning the previous week, they started with confidence and were soon ahead when Kerry Broadhead -Evans scored.

MALVERN LADIES 4, STOURPORT 3RDS 2

With good play down the right it was Emily Price who scored at the far post to make it 2-0 at half time.

Stourport started the second half knowing they had to improve and soon made it 2-1. This lifted Malvern again and Nicky Harvey had an excellent game with the rest of Malvern's midfield strong. They were awarded a free hit which Louise Jelley took and Kerry Broadhead-Evans cracked the ball in first time.

Stourport made it 3-2 then with an unfortunate second own goal but Emily Price scored her second to give Malvern a 4-2 win.

The second half began with Kidderminster making use of all their pressure to draw level. but it was then Malvern who took control of the game attacking continuously and it was good play by Jo Hall down the right which gave her a goal to win the match for Malvern.
