MALVERN RM took another step closer to winning this year's Division Four title in the Worcester & District Sunday Football League.
MALVERN RM 2, ST JOHNS SPORTS 0
Two goals in the first eight minutes by Chris Golding decided Malvern's second big match of the month. Malvern totally dominated the first half and should have gone in at half time six or seven up.
St Johns Sports made a fight of it in the second half but couldn't break down the Malvern defence and goal keeper Steve Slater was on top form saving the few chances that St Johns Sports had.
Man of the Match was Tim Clarke for outstanding commitment but Chris Davis and Steve Slater deserve a mention.
On Sunday, March 18, Malvern RM are home to Northwick Swan Reserves, players to meet at the ground 10am.
