STUDLEY boss Mark Chambers is making the most of his team's blank weekend to treat his squad to a break.

The Bees manager opted for the David Lloyd centre in Shirley rather than Spain's La Manga base but said the lads deserved a break.

"It will be a change, I think when you do the same training week in week out for going on 60 games a season it can get a bit monotonous," said the BKL gaffer.

The Bees will make use of the pool, sauna and gym before a tennis tournament in the afternoon.

The squad are familiar with the facilities after a winter break in December and Chambers is hoping to reap the benefits when BKL return to action with a Worcestershire Senior Urn tie at home to Kidderminster Harriers Reserves on Wednesday (ko 7.45pm).
