ALTERATIONS and extensions were going on apace at Warwick House this time 100 years ago.
The latest change was the addition of a gentleman's department, which the Malvern Gazette commented would make Messrs Cox & Painter "the most up-to-date shop of the kind in Malvern".
"The name of the firm itself is a guarantee that the articles will be of a varied and high class character," it said.
"For stylish hats, artistic patterns in ties, the latest makes in overcoats, underclothing and other articles, Warwick House meets in an admirable manner all requirements."
