EVESHAM United boss Phil Mullen is calling for more of the same as his Dr Martens League Western Division promotion chasers entertain Shepshed Dynamo tomorrow (3pm).

United moved into second place with a 2-1 win at Cirencester in midweek, and Mullen said: "If that's the sort of performance we can expect week in, week out, we will go somewhere.

"It was probably our best performance for a long time all-round. There was tremendous commitment and desire.

"They have shown us the way. I changed things around and rested a few players, but the lads have got the shirts now and it is up to them to keep them."

Mullen, who plans to name an unchanged side with striker Steve Taylor doubtful with a groin injury, hopes his side can pep up their home form -- they've won nine at Common Road compared to 12 away. "We have to take advantage of our games left at home," he said.

n Lowly Bromsgrove Rovers hope to make two more new signings before a testing trip to promotion-chasing Tiverton Town (3pm).

Director of Football Steve Daniels hoped to speak to the players, who he declined to name, last night.

Suspended

Rovers need reinforcements urgently with Luke Yates and Tim Nicholls both suspended and Steve Ulfig ruled out by an ankle injury, while Mark Creighton and Lee Hughes face fitness tests on ankle injuries.

They could also lose striker Richard Burgess, who was due to play a trial match for Second Division Port Vale yesterday.

Daniels hopes confidence will have been lifted by last week's last-gasp 2-1 win over Rocester, which lifted them four points clear of the drop zone.

"It was a win that we needed and was a good three points especially after our first-half display which was dire.

"We are not going down there tomorrow to make the numbers up -- we are going there to do something."

n Redditch United hope to continue the form that brought them a 1-0 derby victory over Evesham last week when they travel to Atherstone United (3pm).
