The Family Service held at St Peter's Church last Sunday morning took the theme of "journeys" with a dramatic reading of Abraham's journey executed by Ian Gane, Meg Allsopp and Thomas Nichol.

The talk by Rev David Nichol involved the congregation "journeying" around the Church, beginning at the Font, representing baptism and the start of the spiritual journey; then to the Pulpit and Lectern representing the word of God, with instructions for the journey; ending at the Altar for spiritual food for the pilgrimage through life.

The prayers of intercession, including those for the farming community, were led by Jo Walker.
