WE were treated to a rare evening of entertainment and knowledge when BBC Hereford & Worcester's Reg Moule was guest of honour at a Gardener's Question Time held in the village hall last Friday.
The audience had many questions, Reg was extremely enthusiastic and demonstrative in his answers, which were knowledgeable and well explained, the audience was quite spellbound. Reg's answers to any problems were so logical and made us all think a little deeper about the well being of our garden.
It was an excellent evening, we all came away much wiser. Many thanks to Reg - please come again soon.
This event was organised by members of Bushley Cricket Club, which will benefit from the profit made.
The winners at the Whist Drive held on Wednesday, March 7 were: J Spragg, E Franklyn, D Davies, C Skirten, N Devereux, P Miles, E Willis, F Gisbey, P Warner, A Peters, D Crook and N Bennett. Don Warren was the MC.
The next Whist Drive will be held in the Village Hall on Wednesday, April 4 at 8pm.
