ONCE again three swimmers from the Evesham area, members of the Tewkesbury Club, excelled at the Gloucestershire County Championships.
Tom Arrowsmith (15) gave all he could muster in a very close 100m breaststroke final to take the silver medal.
He then added fifth placings in both the 100m butterfly and freestyle and a tenth placing in the 100m backstroke to his personal success at Hereford.
Claire Lampitt, competing in the 17-year age group, although preferring the longer distance races, took fourth placings in both the 100m butterfly and backstroke events and fifth place in the 100m freestyle.
In the same age group Louise Clift was placed sixth and seventh respectively in the 100m backstroke and freestyle to cap a fine weekend's work.
