PRINCE Henry's School pupil Alex King has been making waves - quite literally in the world of windsurfing.
The 15-year-old from Eckington has his sights set on selection for the 2008 Olympics after first racing in the Professional Association.
Last year, Alex, who started in the sport at Croft Farm Lake, Bredon as a 13-year-old, finished third in the Aloha class at the South West Championships and, nationally, claimed 12th place out of a field of 46 competitors.
The biggest event, the teenager has ever taken part in was last summer's international in Holland when he finished 20th out of a large fleet of competitors which included opposition from France, Holland, Belgium and fellow British exponents of this difficult sport on the seas.
