A HEALTHY celebration by schoolchildren will take place in Kidderminster on Tuesday.
District pupils involved in the healthy schools programme will have displays of work and projects on show at the Corn Exchange, Kidderminster Town Hall, from 6pm to 8pm.
Pupils, teachers and supporting agencies will be on hand to present and discuss their work.
Ten district schools have taken part in the first wave of the Government scheme.
All schools will be involved within three years.
Worcestershire Healthy Schools Programme assistant manager Tessa Hyams said: "The programme is designed to give as much practical support as possible for schools to create an enjoyable, safe and productive learning environment.
"This means specific work on issues like drug use, sex and relationships education, physical exercise, safety, bullying and healthy eating as well as strengthening an overall awareness of pupils' and staff's social and emotional well-being."
She added: "The achievements of those district schools involved has been excellent.
"The energy, enthusiasm and commitment from schools and supporting agencies towards this Government scheme has also been very encouraging and undertaken in true partnership spirit."
