Pershore 53pts, Trinity Guild 7
PERSHORE returned to winning ways in a convincing fashion.
They controlled the game from start to finish and if only a few passes were kept to hand, another 20 points went begging.
Pershore notched up 37 unanswered points in the first half. Pershore stuck to their game plan, good set piece possession, particularly in the scrums, followed by excellent driving play by the forwards, which Trinity Guild had no answer to.
Tries came at regular intervals through James Smith, Rob Haines, Rich Merrett, Toby Lewis and Phil Green with Rob Haines converting three tries and one penalty.
Trinity Guild improved in the second half but with Pershore still controlling the game three second half tries from Steve Holmes, Carl Evans and a second from Rob Haines, converting one, completed the scoring.
A late try from Trinity Guild was little compensation for a convincing defeat.
