A CAVALCADE of arts and theatre events are lined up for this year across Wychavon.
Members of the district council's community partnership committee were presented with a report on the forthcoming events and those which had taken place over the previous year.
Among projects for 2001 are art in the parks, which will include puppet shows, music, sculpture, workshops and circus.
Street theatres will be performed in district towns and professional touring companies will be invited to village halls, pubs and village greens.
Pre-school age children will be able to participate in arts activities, including creative play.
Exhibitions and school holiday workshops will take place in libraries throughout the district.
Highlights of the previous year included sponsorship for Evesham Concert Club, an Ikon touring exhibition at Pershore Library and a health and arts event at Evesham.
A textile map now hanging in the Village Hall at Church Lench was created by a group of women working together.
