AN EXTRAORDINARY general meeting of the 3D Cotswold Hills Cricket League has been called to discuss the new season's proposed fixtures.
The summer programme of matches - available to clubs only on the Internet at present - was met with some disdain by certain clubs.
It was Shipston who expressed their concern to the league and they were backed by Stratford, Wellesbourne, Bidford and Broadway as they sought to make changes.
"The new 20-week programme was drawn up to accommodate certain clubs who had made specific requests to keep dates open," secretary John Bradley admitted.
"However, other clubs then brought to our attention a clash of dates and we have agreed to hold a special meeting at Badsey next Wednesday."
