A HOST of activities have been arranged across Wyre Forest to raise funds for Comic Relief tomorrow.

Sainsbury's in Carpet Trades Way is hosting a fun day at its petrol station, which will see Kidderminster Harriers staff set up a stall selling merchandise - and donating 10 per cent of the profits to the cause.

Players will also be on hand between 2pm and 3pm to sign autographs and join in the fun, which will include music, morris dancers and a bouncy castle.

The Old House at Home in Blakedown is hosting a firefighter's car wash on its car park between 10am and 3pm on Saturday.

But tomorrow night will see a "Bondi Beach party" at the pub at 9pm - dress is beach wear with donations on the door, and owners have pledged to donate five per cent of takings.

Energetic rowers put in an 'oarsome' performance to raise £60 towards Comic Relief at a Kidderminster fitness centre.

An eight-strong team of rowers completed the 100,000 metres Red Nose Row on Saturday at the Banana Fitness and Health centre.

A team of eight made up of staff and members joined forces to complete the 62.5 mile distance, as did employees Amanda Dobb and Stuart Martin in a separate session on the Concept II rowing machine.

And the fund-raising figure will be boosted by a calorie crunching lunch at the club tomorrow.
