Sixth formers from six Wyre Forest schools are taking part in this year's Young Enterprise Trade Fair taking place in Kidderminster Town Hall between 10 am and 4 pm.

The young people will put on display crafts and other products they have made over the year under their own company management.

Scheme development manager Brian Appleyard said there was plenty of variety of products this year from nine companies with the addition of a new emphasis on new technology.

The annual scheme was a chance for youngsters to test their ability to make and sell products and also for the public to buy attractive and sometimes unusual products.

This year they range from web-site design, cushions and wind chimes to rose holders, calendars, photo-frames and bags.

There is a £50 prize for the business that attracts the most interest and £30 for the runner up.

A presentation at the Town Hall on May 1 will decide who should go on to the Herefordshire and Worcestershire finals leading to the West Midlands and finally the National Young Enterprise finals.
