Vikram Solanki has conquered Bangladesh and now faces fresh challenges with England 'A' in New Zealand if he is to enhance his reputation further.
The tourists move on to the second stage of the tour with the Worcestershire batsman having staked a valid claim to a Test call-up next season.
Although Lancashire's Chris Schofield, 21, has done no harm to his burgeoning claims to be the leg-spinner English cricket has been searching for, 23-year-old Solanki was simply outstanding with the bat.
His 185 against Bangladesh at Chittagong plus half-centuries in two other games put him under the spotlight.
England 'A' coach Martyn Moxon said: "It's been a great experience. The opposition has been tough, I think we've learned a lot and I'm sure the lads will be better for the experience.
"When it comes to individuals, Vikram Solanki has been the man to catch the coach's eye. His innings on this tour have been excellent."
