DIVISION Four Ambassador continued their good Evesham Sunday League form to move within two points of the summit with games in hand.

Goals from Grove, Emms and Crawford helped them to their latest victory over Bretforton Old Boys.

The top two, Broadway United Reserves and Salford Rovers, fought out a goalless draw with United left to rue a second half penalty miss.

Goals from Martin and Staite gave Haven Harriers the points at Servicemen's to move the winners out of the bottom two for the first time since they joined the league last season.

Chris Vizor hit a double as Crown Athletic won at Ashton Reserves, goals from Mariner and Surman gave Tewkesbury Town Reserves the points at Mickleton, while Rowland and Simpson were on target for Mountinneers in a win that all but ended Defford and Besford's promotion hopes.

The third division's in-form team, Stratford Yates, hit seven past Riverside with prolific marksman Carlo Giorgio hitting a hat-trick.

Bottom held top elsewhere as Shipston Sports gained a creditable point at leaders Willersey.

Honeybourne Gate continue to move away from relegation as goals from Dawe, Warmington and Ballard helped defeat Bury.

Both Ashton and Broadway United recorded away wins from visits to Swan Sports and Plum Tree respectively.

A superbly taken free kick by Lee Byron gave Division Two leaders Hospital Club a hard earned win over Anchor Fladbury.

Fairfield Flyers recorded their biggest win of the season hitting 11 at Blockley with Redding (6) and Curry (2) among their scorers.

Peopleton led Lower Moor United through a Leigh Smith goal before an own goal levelled matters.

Division One champions Bretforton VIC are moving ominously into form, they closed the gap on the leaders with a ten-goal show against ten-man Tewkesbury with goals from Mitchell (4), Reeves (2), Gregory, Edwards, Major and Jones.

Goals from Smith and Luney kept Guiting Rangers in second place as they defeated visitors Inkberrow and goals from Hollands and Coles helped Pebworth share the honours with Evesham WMC.

A Jack Christian goal took holders Bredon into the final of the Evesham Hospital Junior Cup, while Moreton Wanderers moved into the last four on the strength of six first half goals against Mickleton Rangers.

Red Horse and Offenham Rovers won through to the last four of the Minor Cup.
