THE Birmingham County FA have thrown Evesham United out of the Birmingham Senior Cup.
A meeting on Wednesday evening decided to award the third round tie to West Bromwich Albion as a satisfactory date for the tie couldn't be agreed between the two clubs.
An instruction issued by the BCFA on February 19 said the match should be completed by March 14. However, because of the delay in staging the second round tie against Hednesford, Evesham found themselves with few options to present to the Football League club.
The clubs had agreed to play on April 4, while Albion had turned down a request to play at Common Road on March 24.
United officials were checking if an appeal is possible.
