AS part of the national Defence of Britain project we are recording 20th Century military and civil defence sites.
One of the subjects in which we are interested is the location of Royal Observer Corps in this county. One of these posts was located in Evesham but we are told that it has been demolished. We would be interested to hear from any reader who could tell us the location of this post so that we can add it to our records. If any reader can help I would be grateful if they could telephone the County Archaeological Service on 01905 855455 and leave their name and contact number. I will then get back to them as soon as I can.
