A pensioner was taken to hospital in Redditch after falling down an escalator in Kidderminster's Rowland Hill centre.
Shopping centre manager Phil Dunn said Gladys Cooper, from Stourport, had been shopping and had fallen backwards down the escalator shortly after 2pm. He added: "She was very shaken. She hurt her left leg and shoulder and banged her head."
A spokesman for Kidderminster ambulance service said Mrs Cooper had been taken to the Alexdandra Hospital in Redditch where she was treated for bruising.
