ONE of Wyre Forest's biggest sporting events has become the latest victim of the foot and mouth crisis.
The Red Marley Hill Climb, scheduled for Easter weekend at Walsgrove Farm, near Great Witley, has been cancelled.
With no alternative dates available, the event will now return next year.
Public relations officer Colin Biddle said: "It is soul-destroying - everybody has put in so much effort. But we fully understand the farmers' position."
The event for vintage motorcycling, first held in 1927, returned last year after a 29-year absence, drawing a crowd of more than 8,000.
