THE Valentine's day meeting combined the AGM with a light-hearted social hour. This year the committee were re-nominated and all agreed to another year in office. The secretary, Mrs Roma Smith, reviewed the past year, reminding members of the many interesting evenings they have had. The treasurer, Mrs Yvonne Brown, reported that the funds were adequate helped by garden teas and the Salford walk. The president, Mrs Janet Murrell, thanked the committee and members for their support during the past year and looked forward to the coming year's activities.
Mrs E Drayton reported on the resolutions meeting held in Chipping Norton in January.
Birthday posies were given to Mrs Brearley and Mrs S Green.
