THE final draft of Bromsgrove District Council's blueprint for future development in the area has been drawn up.
At the authority's special policy and resources committee meeting members decided on the final draft of the Bromsgrove District Local Plan (BDLP) which is to be presented to a Government planning inspector later in the year.
The council put forward a number of proposed changes following a public inquiry into the plan in 1995/96 and these were put out for a six-week public consultation last September.
Members looked at some of the 1,025 objections it received and decided on a plan which will be presented to the Government planning inspector in May.
The bulk of objections concerned the authority's proposals for areas of development restraint (ADRs) - areas which could be developed in future years if circumstances arise.
The majority of these are in the green belt.
