MOBILE phone users who have been putting people off their food at a Catshill pub have been told to take their calls in a passageway so customers can enjoy a peaceful meal.
Alan Lynch, who runs the Plough and Harrow, in Stourbridge Road, was fed up with constant ringing tones disturbing his quieter patrons.
He has allocated a passageway in the pub for calls to be taken so others are not disturbed.
Alan said: "The ringing became excessive, particularly after Christmas, and I think to have this noise when you are trying to eat is unacceptable.
"I haven't banned mobile phones, you haven't even got to turn them off here -- just go to the passageway when yours rings."
