A CONCERNED vicar, who covers Stoke Prior, where a case of foot and mouth was detected last week, is offering advice for farmers.

The Rev Dennis Wight, who is also Worcestershire's chaplain for Agriculture and Rural Life, said: "Everyone in my three parishes, Stoke Prior, Wychbold and Upton Warren is experiencing a feeling of isolation and 'who will be next?'

"The Church of England has set up the Worcestershire Royal Stress Support Agency, which provides advice and financial support to those affected by foot and mouth or other farming problems."

Mr Wight added: "As well as prayer, the church is able to also offer practical help." The agency can be reached on 01905 381818.
