FARMERS' clubs in Bromsgrove and Droitwich Spa will not be going to an annual conference, which has been cancelled following the foot and mouth tragedy.
More than 200 members of Worcestershire Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs (WFYFC) were set to travel to the national event in Torbay, in Devon.
Organised by the National Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs (NFYFC) it attracts more than 4,000 from England and Wales.
Activities include the annual general meeting, competitions and social events.
NFYFC chairman Stephen Jarvis said: "This has been a tough decision to make and will be a big disappointment to YFC members.
"In light of the current situation, especially in Devon, we felt it was the only sensible course of action we could take."
