I AGREE with the person whose letter was headed: skateboard amazement prompts police question.
I live at Norbury House, in Droitwich, and am constantly disturbed by the noise made by the gangs which hang around the precinct until at least 10pm. Not only are there skateboarders but also people on scooters and kids playing football -- hence the reason why the shop alarms are constantly being set off.
I have called the police on several occasions and asked them to have them moved on, and so far my requests have always been met.
What amazes me is that the Advertiser had a front page story saying police were cracking down on people hanging around the precinct and that they had monitored it through CCTV and taken several names and addresses. Could the police please define what they class as cracking down?
