I WOULD like to respond to Cllr Williamson's letter (We'll sort out problems) published on February 28.
The matter of the fallen tree on the North Worcestershire path, although improved, has still to be finally resolved because the path remains partially blocked.
Perhaps while Cllr McDonald is giving its final removal his consideration, he should also drive around Rubery to see the rutted and potholed condition of roads and footpaths the Highways Authority is failing to maintain to a reasonable standard.
These can easily be spotted because they are in most cases indicated with white paint.
Unfortunately the drains cannot, they are so silted and blocked that to a casual observer they have become part of the road.
John Ashman,
Chairman,
Lickey Hills Consultative Committee.
