BROMSGROVE U12s 21 Dudley Kingswinford U12s 21. Bromsgrove's high quality performance was overshadowed by an injury to Sam Schofield. Bromsgrove were under pressure in the opening period but excellent defensive work kept DK out. Ben Raybould and Ashley Pogson made good tackles on much bigger players. Town's forwards gained momentum, and good ball retention led to a forwards try from Jon Cadman. Bromsgrove's second score came from George Crook when he followed up a long clearance kick from Simon Roberts. As the game progressed both teams made numerous substitutions without lowering the quality of the rugby. After DK's first try, Tom Cole rounded off a fine individual performance with a try in the corner. DK lifted the pace in the fourth quarter and scored twice to level the scores. Big tackles from Matthew Newman and Will Gormley kept DK out during the final minutes. Jack Cawston and James Archer --who both normally play at scrum half -- played well as hooker and lock respectively.

Bromsgrove U13s 55 Dudley Kingswinford U13s 0. Bromsgrove returned to winning ways with a comprehensive victory. The team played with spirit throughout the game and coaches Phil Ingram and Geoff Strong were able to rotate players to ensure that all squad members had a run out. The first half was a close fought game and Bromsgrove were only able to score 15 points in this half; two tries, one conversion and a penalty. The second half was a different matter with scores coming at regular intervals. David Hughes scored a hat-trick of tries, one penalty and five conversions for a personal points tally of 28. Stuart Young scored two tries and one conversion. James Taylor scored two, with the final try going to Daniel Spalding.

Bromsgrove U15s 40 Dudley Kingswinford U15s 21. Bromsgrove had a good start when Ollie Wells scored and converted in the first minute of the game. DK soon replied and evened the score. Bromsgrove were soon back in control when Wells scored and converted. The game settled towards the end of the first half, but Warren Oliver set the game alight when he made a fine break running across almost the length of the pitch to score under the posts. DK ended the first half with a try, making the score 21-14.

Early in the second half, Tom Rostrup charged down a kick and scored. The forwards battled well and a fine move saw Douglas put Rostrup through to score. Toni Casamassa stopped many of DK's attacks, but eventually they broke through and scored. The game ended with Wells scoring from a penalty move to complete his hat trick.
